Super Flash Exporter!

Tommy unveiled his super "flash to console" exporter tool. a tool that will basically let me do all my art and animations in flash, then with a click of a button Tommys tool exports out all my work into a single png file that gets magically rerouted into the game exactly as it was in flash.

he put together a little video explaining in depth how the process works, i highly recommend you check it out because you just might learn something.

Its an amazing tool that we will be using extensively for super meat boy and basically every game we make together from now on.

im trying to get Tommy to post a video of the SMB level editor.. but believe the content in it is a little too adult to be uploaded to youtube... we shall see.

In other news, No Quarter (Hitler's Must Die!) are currently in the last month of development. We will be putting it up on Steam as close to August 1st as we can, we will be working quite a few 11-12 hour days for the next month, its going to be hellish...

They also did a 4 page retrospective on my work as well as a very unique interview that really reads like im casualy talking to someone off the street.

(seriously how long do you think can juice that single piece of character art for?)

Buy it now!

Nintendo power bitch! What now!?

If you go to the news stands this week and tear open a factory sealed issue of Nintnedo power you will find a beefy 2 page article/interview with Tommy and I for Super Meat Boy on Wiiware.
Heres a page from it.

Weird huh? Doesn't seem real... Tommy and i should have some cool new info and video of SMB pretty soon.

For the next 2 weeks Alex and I will be working on getting together a playable beta of No Quarter with all games in near final playable states. Last week i spent a few days making over 120 set pieces for Hitlers Must Die!, the environments look more realistic and lush now, with layers of parallax hills, trees and piles of dead Hitlers.

We hope to wrap up development of No Quarter in late July, fingers crossed.

On the side ive been working on a few secret flash games... i cant say what they are for or much about them at this point but they should be finished in the next 2 months.

BOSS FIGHTS!

i was reading the indiegames blog and they showed a few video of final bosses in indie games. i felt the need to post this.
Its a video of the final boss of Cereus Peashy, the first video game i ever started working on. Originally programmed by Castle Crashers creator Tom Fulp, and later remade by Caulder Bradford. sadly the fact that it was one of my first designs means its horrible flawed... honestly playing it now makes me realize how little i knew about games back then.. but its still kinda pretty, so yeah, i doubt many got that far in it so there's the vid bitches.

you can play the full game here.
